Saudi Arabia…coming back to life

Saudi Arabia National Flag

Great news for expats in Saudi or planning to be soon in Saudi needs to know that Saudi Arabia lifts curfew nationwide starting yesterday, 21st of June. Country resumes all economic activities under strict precautionary measures: social distancing, wearing masks, a gathering of more than 50 people is prohibited.

Travel within the kingdom by varied means of transportation, besides private cars, were permitted, and restaurants and cafés too were allowed to reopen.
International travel will remain suspended until further notice and borders will remain closed.

On Saturday, June 20, the country reported 3,941 new Covid-19 cases taking the total number of cases detected in the kingdom up to 154,233.

What it means for Talent and Expats

Though life is resuming back with full force and enthusiasm however you need to understand that does not mean the kingdom is prepared for resuming international travel or any international event including the one of its biggest event of the year, Hajj It is most likely, Saudi will cancel the event and that means small and big events may get wrapped up in the same dilemma

Immigration and other residency services are on hold and as per our information, it has not been digitized fully to be in action. That only means more wait.
